Over the last 5 years FSD have completed a number of projects in the rail industry with a total contract value in excess of eight million pounds. The largest of these, with a contract value of several million pounds, was associated with the prestigious Channel Tunnel Rail Link project where FSD gained a reputation for meeting the clients required milestones under extremely difficult circumstances.

All of the projects have involved detailed design that has encompassed a range of skills from cable design to control panels, all of which have conformed to the requirements of the various rail companies' technical specifications. In addition to conforming to the specifications, FSD have suggested innovations that have benefited the project both financially and technically.

FSD is confident that we can make a significant contribution in the rail industry and have, accordingly, invested in staff training to ensure that we can meet our clients' needs, and this is something that we will continue to develop in the future.

As with all the industries in which we work, FSD's rail projects are developed in a close, collaborative manner to ensure that project delivery is achieved to the agreed timescales and budgets.
